Felin Talgarth Mill is a thriving community initiative providing a hub for the production of high quality, locally made food and crafts. At the heart of the project is our 18th Century watermill, now back in full working order, and milling every week.

Our flour is sold directly from the Mill, and delivered to local retailers, bakers, chefs and distributors, making the mill a productive enterprise once again. Nestled next to the watermill, Bara Melin Talgarth, bakery and patisserie, offers a wide range of fresh-baked bread, baked goods, cakes, patisserie, gourmet coffee and teas as well as special seasonal dining events. And within the Mill, Talgarth Mill Crafts provides a showcase for over 30 local makers and designers.

We have adapted to everything CV19 has thrown our way and have continued to mill and bake throughout. The safety of our volunteers, staff, and visitors will always be our priority and access to the Mill, bakery, and craft shop will continue to be managed in line with the current regulations and the size, scale, and layout of our buildings.

From May 2021, access is available to the gardens, riverside walkway, Craft Shop, and bakery (takeaway and some inside tables). Visitors can watch the wheel in action, explore the waterside gardens, and enjoy delicious baked goods, with the river running gently by.
